Maygrove - Orewa – Jan 24” Market Update

Maygrove Orewa: With all the talk around the housing market we thought we would analyse our local statistics for you. Taking the same time last year being Dec22 to Jan 23 prices remain much the same as this year. The market has plateaued. Whether we see a change later this year will remain to be seen; the OCR has risen and so have interest rates, yet we must consider that there is record immigration with immigrants all needing a place to live.  The question is can the immigrants who are coming into the country afford housing in Orewa. We feel this year is too early to predict.
