What’s Sold

The recent report from REINZ shows in May 24 the median price for residential property across New Zealand (excluding sections) decreased from $780,000 in May 2023 by just 1.3% annually to $770,000 in May 2024. A total of 6303 properties were sold across NZ during May, up from 5903 sold in May 2023.

It is interesting to note that for the same period last year there were 5 sales (Mar 23 – May 23), 4 Sales (Mar 24 – May 24) in Maygrove Orewa . Highest price March to May 23 was $1,700,000 home and income (6brms) . All other properties were 3 brms. Lowest price Mar – May 23 was $1,025,000 . Average days on market 72days.

We note that there were 15 sales in Mar – Apr 23 with the highest price being $2,500,000 and the lowest price $900,000 . Average days on the market 36.
