As usual, our wonderful Hibiscus Coast has enjoyed a busy time with many holiday-makers once again flocking to the beaches to make the most of the hot summer weather.
It seems that the local real estate market has really begun to find some momentum with sellers that have been holding off waiting for more market certainty, now coming to the market. What we know about real estate is that in most cases, properties are being transacted for lifestyle reasons and these can't be put on hold indefinitely. 

The latest New Zealand Property Report published by Real Estate NZ suggested the post-election 'sugar rush' may have worn off the market with the lowest month on record for new listings and the national average asking price back by almost 4% year-on-year.
